Hiya! Sending you best wishes and hope you’re staying safe, babe. I know you’re wondering how you can support fellow babes who were hit hard by COVID affects and I’m here to say that’s incredible! One group of entrepreneurs that has been challenged quite a bit are retail babes, especially those who own a brick & mortar.

But here’s the thing! There are super tangible, helpful ways to support & highlight these businesses, including sharing on social media, writing a glowing review on Google or Facebook, and even snagging a Mother’s Day present by ordering a gift card online.

Thank you for your kind heart and have a happy + safe Mother’s Day!

Remember we’re all in this together & that you got this. xx -Gina

“We just launched our floral deliveries for Mother’s Day, we’re taking it back old school to how we got started 31 years ago! We’d love for anyone to share the link to spread the word to as many local Tampa people as much as possible. No pressure to order, we just appreciate spreading the word!”

“Since we're not getting to hug and love on our friends in person, shop small and send them a gift! Most online retailers will happily include a gift note (and some will include gift wrapping, too!) - it's a win-win for letting a loved one know you're thinking of them and celebrating + supporting a retail babe. If you're worried about cost during this time, (aren't we all?!), just ask the store owner - you never know what solution they'll offer. At PaperFinch we're launching some digital downloads at really reasonable prices - so you can print them as many times as you'd like and send to your friends or shove them in your neighbors' mailboxes.

And nobody says you've got to shop for others. We're all grieving and we're all stuck at home.... If you need some retail therapy and want to add some small touches of flair to your home, now's the time! If you're at home shopping and you see a pillow or artwork you like, it's a lot easier to envision what it will look like if you're in your living room and not in the home decor aisles of Target!

Lastly, if you're out of work PLEASE don't overextend yourself financially. We'd also love it if you just spread the word! Share our posts, tag us, shout us from the rooftops - we sometimes get wary of doing it ourselves too much, and word of mouth is priceless!”
