Good morning, Boss Babes! I have just the thing that’ll make your day boss & bright… that thing is the attitude and kindness of Sheila Vaske, Owner of V’Enza Creations. Sheila is originally from Warwick, Rhode Island but has always wanted to live in Florida. She’s tried the move three times, but the first two times didn’t stick! Finally, 2.5 years ago she relocated to Tampa Bay with her two competitive skater-daughters and she hasn’t looked back. V’Enza also isn’t her first rodeo. She had a restaurant in her 20’s and has also worked in real estate. Her favorite song is “Over the Rainbow” & that should come as no surprise. Sheila’s story focuses on patience & staying true to yourself— two things we could all use a lot more of. I hope you’re excited to meet her. Enjoy her words & stay boss. xx

Take a peek into Sheila’s daily life!

Tell us about yourself and what you do!

I am a Mom of two amazing girls who mean the world to me and I am on a mission to spread positive, inspirational and healing energy to as many people as I can through my creations!

I created an Inspirational Brand of jewelry and accessories called V'Enza.

How did your business begin?

I have always been a pretty positive and spiritual person, but about 5 years ago... I had to dig pretty deep and try to discover who I really was and who I really wanted be. like so many, I was struggling with what my purpose was and in a dark and lonely place in my life.

That being said, I began to do some true soul searching, journaling and meditating. This led me on a journey of creating jewelry. I never in a million years thought that this was in my future. I always loved being creative and had an entrepreneurial spirit, but one day my favorite cross bracelet broke and was so sad, as I wore this everyday because it gave me inspiration.

I went to Michaels, and fixed it. When I did, I thought... wow this is really neat and so I began to make lots of bracelets. Then my friends began to purchase them and the response I was receiving from everyone was that they loved the bracelets because of the energy that was in them. They would have a bad if they didn't wear them and I began to realize that not only were there healing energies in the stones I was using, but everything I was making was being created with such a loving nature and filled with good and positive intentions...

So it began, I was on a mission to Inspire, Motivate, Protect and Heal as many people as possible through my creations!

What’s 1 challenge you’ve faced and 1 success you’ve had since you’ve created your business?

One challenge has been how to grow my brand to the level I envision it to be. One success has been to find a manufacturer that was willing to take a chance and believe in me and what I am doing enough to take me on! through that channel I have been able to create packaging and bring my creations to a wholesale platform.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received and has it come in handy for you?

'Ask and you shall receive'. One of my absolute favorites! It's amazing that so much of what we ask for can be given. Be it the universe, God, or others including your friends and family and even strangers! When leaving the ego behind and simply asking for what it is we need or want... so many opportunities are opened up!

When are you at your happiest?

When I get a call, email or message from someone that I have inspired or helped in some way means the absolute world to me! Sometimes it's a hug from a stranger I have just met but something I have or said touched them in a way that they really needed at that moment.... amazing to me! To sum it up, when I am doing what I am called to do and it is received exactly how it is supposed to be!

What do you tell yourself when things get difficult?

'This too shall pass'. It certainly isn't easy and it takes a lot of mustering sometimes to find the reason that things may not be going as I planned or want them to. however, every single failure, has taught me something, and I try to tell myself it is all in the journey!

What are you grateful for?

Everything, really! I am grateful for life. I am grateful for my children and family. For every single day that we are blessed to be here, for my family, for the synchronicities that appear in mysterious and miraculous ways. I am grateful for my failures and my faith! I am so grateful to live in Florida! For the sunshine, the beach, palm trees.... Gosh... seriously EVERYTHING!

What’s 1 personal goal and 1 business goal you plan to accomplish this year?

Personally, one goal I have is to laugh more and have more fun. I was taking life a bit too seriously for a while. dedicating all of my energy to my children and my company.... that I vowed I would begin to have more fun in 2018!

Business: one goal is to collaborate and partner with an established company. I feel I have done all I can by myself, and would like to take the company to the next level I have envisioned.

Where can you be found on a Sunday morning?

Tough... I'm either working a market, at church or at the beach! one of the three!

Finish these sentences:

I love: warm weather and wearing flip flops all year long!

I’m always looking for: signs. the universe is always providing them, and I'm always looking for them!

My inspiration is: my children! I want them to know and believe that anything is possible. not always going to be easy, but possible!

I’ll never: be 25 again! lol
